Description
A Retro Bowl-style game called Gridiron. Pick a team and run its offense: throw to where your receiver is going, then break tackles on the way to the end zone. The other team's drives play out on their own. Win enough of your ten games to reach the conference final and the Iron Cup, and spend what your wins earn on new players.
Controls
- 2nd: snaps the ball, then throws a lob to the target. On a field goal or extra point, press it twice: once for power, once for direction.
- alpha: right after the snap, hands off to the running back. Later in the play it throws a hard, flat pass instead.
- Arrows: move the target, so you can throw where your receiver is going, then steer whoever has the ball. A quick tap jukes and 2nd dives.
- clear: asks if you want to forfeit the game (enter forfeits it as a loss, clear keeps playing). In the menus it goes back, and on the title screen it quits.
