In Chrome or Edge on a computer, download the game from the box below, then connect your calculator there to send it. Otherwise, send the download with TI Connect CE.
Geometry Dash's author asked that the license and readme come with the game, so download it first and read them. Then you can send it here.
In the list that opens, click your calculator, then Connect. Use the cable that came with your calculator. Some cables only charge.
Sending straight to your calculator works in Chrome or Edge on a computer.
Geometry Dash, the popular adaption of The Impossible Game, is now available for the TI-84 Plus CE graphing calculator! Jump and fly to avoid hitting obstacles! It comes with eight levels from the original game for hours of fun!
Installing Geometry Dash
In Chrome or Edge on a computer, use the box near the top of this page: click Download Geometry Dash first, then Connect your calculator and Send to calculator.
On Safari or Firefox, use TI Connect CE, TI’s program for Windows and Mac.
- Install TI Connect CE.
- Download the game and unzip it.
- Plug in the calculator, turn it on and open TI Connect CE.
- Click the second icon down in the left sidebar. It looks like a stack of pages, just below the green camera.
- Drag AGD.8xp, GDGrphc.8xv and GDMenu.8xv into that window. Then send them from the box that opens.
- Send the levels the same way. They’re the eight files in the levels folder, and the game’s menu is empty without them.
Playing the Game
To launch the game, all you need to do is press the [PRGM] button (starting from your calculator home screen), and then select AGD from the menu. Press enter once more, and your game will launch! If your calculator runs OS 5.5 or later, it has to be jailbroken before this works (see below).
If the game doesn’t start: what to do depends on your OS version. Press [2nd], [+], then 1:About to see it.
- OS 5.3 or 5.4: no jailbreak and no A needed: press [PRGM], pick AGD, and press enter twice.
- OS 5.2 or earlier: no jailbreak and no A needed, but games start through Asm(: press [2nd], [0], scroll down to Asm( and press enter, then press [PRGM], pick AGD, and press enter. “ERROR: ARCHIVED” means it’s in Archive: send it again from this page.
- OS 5.5 or later, not jailbroken yet: run our jailbreak installer first.
- OS 5.5 to 5.8.4, jailbroken: press [PRGM], run A, and pick AGD.
- OS 5.8.5, jailbroken: if it says “ERROR: INVALID”, press [apps] and open AsmHook2, then start AGD from [PRGM] again.
- With a shell app (Cesium, CEaShell or CalcPlex): press [apps], open it, and pick AGD inside it.
Congratulations! If all went well, you now have a fully functional Geometry Dash game on your graphing calculator! Use the arrow keys to select a level, and press [Enter] to start your game. Controls
- Left/Right: choose a level (menu)
- Enter: launch the selected level (menu)
- 2nd: jump (in game)
- Enter: pause (in game). The screen goes plain red until you press Enter again.
- Mode: return to the menu (in game)
- Exit: Clear quits the game instantly during play; Mode, Del, or Clear quits from the menu
